Refunds

1. How date claims work

When you purchase a date on Own This Day, that date is exclusively allocated to your claim and we begin creating and activating your personalised public page shortly after payment.

2. Changing your mind

Because your chosen date is allocated specifically to you and your personalised page begins being provided shortly after payment, we may not be able to offer a refund simply because you later change your mind.

Any cancellation rights available to you under applicable consumer law still apply. Nothing in this policy removes or limits those rights.

3. If something goes wrong

If your claim is not activated correctly, you are charged incorrectly, the service does not match what was promised, or there is another problem with your purchase, please contact us.

Depending on the circumstances, we may correct the problem, restore your claim, provide a replacement service, reduce the price or issue a refund where appropriate or legally required.

4. Duplicate or incorrect charges

If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same purchase, contact us and we will investigate the transaction.

Confirmed duplicate charges will be refunded where appropriate.

5. Removed content

Removing an image, message, link or other submitted content because it breaches our Terms does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the underlying date claim.

This does not affect any rights you may have where the service itself is faulty or has not been provided as agreed.

6. Requesting help or a refund

Please include the email address used for the purchase and the date you claimed so we can locate the transaction.

7. Payment disputes

Payments are processed through Stripe Managed Payments. Payment disputes and eligible refunds may also be handled through Stripe as part of the payment process.

8. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this refund policy excludes, restricts or replaces any consumer rights or remedies that apply to your purchase under applicable law.
